Job Description: The Athletic Director oversees all aspects of the athletic program, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and compliance with regulations. They promote sportsmanship, student-athlete welfare, and excellence in athletics.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
• State of Indiana Teaching license (Administrative License preferred)
• Successful High School or Middle School coaching experience preferred.
• Technology skills to use athletic scheduling software and analyze financial spreadsheets.
• Reliability, good organizational and communication skills, and ability to work well with students, parents and staff.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Schedule athletic events, officials, and athletic facility use requests.
• Supervise and/or schedule supervision for all home athletic events with the help of the Administrative staff.
• Work closely with the athletic secretary in overseeing and monitoring financial reports for ticket sales, officials and workers pay, inventory, and sale of

merchandise. Be accountable for the cash boxes and receipts of all monies collected from concessions.

• Hire all workers for home athletic events (ticket sellers, concession workers, scorers, timers, scoreboard operators, announcers, etc.).
• Use computer skills to work with the athletic scheduler and the officials software program.
• Supervise and mentor coaching staff. Provide coaching staff with a handbook on responsibilities, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Performotherduties as required by the Middle and High School Principal.
