Overview:
Join our team as a Senior COMMERCIAL Construction Estimator where you will play a key role in our COMMERCIAL construction projects. We are seeking a skilled professional to accurately estimate project costs and ensure successful project completion.

Duties:
-Seek out new bidding opportunities and prepare detailed cost estimates for COMMERCIAL construction projects
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate quantities of materials and labor required
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
- Utilize software such as Planswift, Bluebeam and HeavyBid for precise cost calculations
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the COMMERCIAL construction process to ensure adherence to budget
- Provide support in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs

Requirements:

- A minimum associate's degree in a construction-related field

- 10 years of VERIFIABLE estimating experience in the COMMERCIAL construction sector

-Prior supervisory or project leadership roles in a COMMERCIAL construction setting
- Proven experience in COMMERCIAL construction estimating, cost control, and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Planswift, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, etc.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols

Pay: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
