Job Title: Principal Professional Hardware Design Engineer - Digital ASIC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to design and modify electronic parts and hardware systems for hearing systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital ASIC design, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in mixed-signal ASIC development activities, including design, verification, and validation
• Create and modify digital block level microarchitecture and design digital logic blocks
• Develop and implement digital V&V test plans and test benches
• Perform RTL simulation and verification, including pre-tapeout FPGA level emulation and post-silicon debug and characterization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including contract designers and fabless IC design vendors
• Develop and improve in-house digital design workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering, or related field
• At least 7 years of experience in digital ASIC design
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and project management skills

Nice to Have:

• Master's or higher degree in electrical, computer engineering, or related field
• 10 years of experience in digital ASIC design
• Project management skills and experience in the Class-III medical industry
• Proficiency in additional programming languages, including Python, C/C , and MATLAB

Travel Requirement:

• Up to 0-5% travel required

Hybrid work- 2-3 days in office in Santa Clarita, CA required
