Responsibilities:

  • Customer Account Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of customer accounts.
  • Month-End Close: Execute month-end close procedures.
  • Reconciliations and Analysis: Complete various reconciliations and analyses, including intercompany reconciliations and resolving differences.
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable Invoicing: Handle invoicing related to intercompany transactions.
  • Miscellaneous Requests: Address and manage ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Analytical Review: Conduct analytical reviews for assigned general ledger accounts and general ledger processing.
  • Adjustments: Recommend and implement necessary adjustments.
  • System Testing: Participate in system testing, develop test cases, and review and document test results.

Compliance:

  • Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, including proper segregation of duties to meet Internal Control System (ICS) standards.

Required Skills:

  • Internal Controls: Comprehensive understanding of internal controls, financial transaction recording and reporting, including the origination, recognition, processing, and summarization of transactions in financial statements.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively while managing time constraints.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Capable of working both collaboratively within a group and independently.

Analytical Skills:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Ability to collect data, establish facts, and identify trends and variances.
  • Information Integration: Ability to integrate information from various sources with different levels of complexity.
  • Transactional Information Evaluation: Ability to review, interpret, and evaluate accounting transactional information.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Excel and Access.
  • SAP: Experience with SAP software.
  • Problem Solving and Analysis: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Accounting Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
