Responsible for designing, developing, and improving new or existing products and assisting in the building and testing of prototype vehicles.

Primary Responsibilities for Build Technician:

• Experience with automotive parts - the ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and/or replace vehicle operating systems (air conditioning, powertrain, suspension, brakes, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, or other build documentation
• Knowledge of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications
• Experience with installation of wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems
• Operate a vehicle lift in a safe manner
• Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic components
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance

Qualifications for Build Technician:

• 2 years experience in an automotive environment, required
• Experience working in a team environment, required
• Excellent oral and written skills

Education Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree preferred
