Blue Coast Multifamily is Hiring a Sales Rep. Near Margate, FL

Job Overview:Blue Coast Multifamily is a construction company. Our company is growing and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the construction sales industry and contribute to the growth of our company.

Summary:

Responsible for developing hard cost estimates on projects for construction as required by client and design documents, providing a total bid and detailed contract specifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to high standards.

Job description:

- Meet with clients, gather information, review construction documents, understand scope of work, then develop a detailed Scope of Work along with Blue Coast team for the proposed project. Conduct on-site measuring as required.

- Follow up the sales from the start to the end – client prospection, Company’s presentation, job execution, until the invoices payment receiving.

- Identify and educate prospective clients while supporting existing ones with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

- Conduct on-site measuring and walk throughs.

- Execute take-offs of construction documents, specially permits.

- Input take-offs into digital spreadsheet.

- Obtain pricing for materials, as needed.

- Obtain bids from subcontractors. Find subcontractors to perform the jobs sold if Blue Coast doesn’t have it “in house”.

- Follow up all estimates sent, sales done/in execution, jobs concluded.

- Prepare the estimates – scope of work, timeline, cost, etc. and review them, if necessary.

- Prepare specifications for presentation to client.

- Deliver the specifications and construction contract to clients with a high degree of confidence and passion to be able to sell them on our company values.

- Interact with field staff to provide technical direction and support, as well as to resolve questions and issues as they arise.

- Prepares digital cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.

- Informs immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or digital database.

- Work in partnership with the Scheduling team to schedule jobs sold and/or requested by our clients.

- The duties are not limited to the information listed above, additional work and responsibilities may be required to be completed as part of normal duties of the job.

Responsibilities:

- Communication and organization are fundamental and essential.

- Be punctual for all appointments, whether with clients, office meetings, or any other commitments.

- Maintain a close relationship with your supervisor and schedule team, to communicate the agenda/schedule, and make daily reports.

- Present yourself with the appropriate dress code for the job for which you are being hired to.

- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

- Continuously improve through feedback.

- Reaching out to customer leads through cold calling, visiting or any other approach that will ensure that the job’s goal is achieved.

- Company’s cellphone: the Sales rep. will be provided with a cellphone, paid by the company, which should be attended at all times, considering it is a crucial tool for staying connected with our clients and handling urgent matters efficiently.

We offer competitive compensation packages including base salary plus commission. Additionally, we provide gas reimbursement and a company’s car (after 90 days experience term).

Job Type:

Full-time: 40hrs per week, minimum.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to 12 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Building construction knowledge and construction product knowledge are a must in this position.
