THE ROLE: The RV General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the RV dealership, ensuring the business meets its sales and profitability goals. The role involves managing staff, maintaining high customer service standards, and optimizing the operational efficiency of the dealership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Oversee daily operations of the RV dealership, including sales, service, parts, and administrative functions.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Coordinate marketing efforts to promote the dealership’s inventory and services.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
• Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate dealership staff.
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and professional growth.
• Prepare and manage the dealership’s budget.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet financial goals.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining RV units.
• Ensure the dealership complies with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and customers.
• Develop long-term business plans and set strategic goals for growth and profitability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the RV or automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
• Knowledge of RV products and industry trends.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
