The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating project(s) from concept to completion. The Project Manager will manage project(s) and related deliverables using standard BCBSMS project management processes, methodologies and documentation practices to ensure projects meet the project objectives timely. Furthermore, the Project Manager will manage project teams, ensuring quality control throughout the entire project by following corporate policies and procedures.
Job-Specific Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing multiple projects simultaneously including:
    • 1 year experience supporting software development projects, IT infrastructure, IT security, or other projects with a strong IT component preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge in the use of Project Management methodologies
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Strong documentation skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Proven ability to multi-task timely
