Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Blue Hills Community Market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and sustainability, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor. As a Store Associate, you will assist customers, maintain store cleanliness, and contribute to the overall success of our market.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a smile and provide courteous assistance
- Help customers locate products and make informed purchasing decisions
- Ensure shelves and displays are stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and safety protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
