We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Promotional Event Assistants. In this role, you will assist in the planning, organization, and execution of fundraising events. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing logistical support and engaging with attendees to promote our charitable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of fundraising events and promotional activities
- Support event setup, including arranging displays, promotional materials, and equipment
- Engage with event attendees, providing information about our charity partners and fundraising goals
- Distribute promotional materials and encourage attendee participation in fundraising activities
- Assist with registration, ticketing, and donor contributions during events
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations and address any issues that arise
- Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of event spaces post-event
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving future events and promotional strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- High energy and enthusiasm for engaging with people
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
- Previous experience in event planning, promotions, or customer service is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an advantage
