What You’ll Do 75% - Business Development 20% - Business Strategy 5% - Project Management Job Summary As a new agency, driving and catalyzing growth is the most essential higher order “job to be done” in our company. In particular, we are looking to drive that growth with new client relationships with brands we have not spoken to before. This person will use market and industry knowledge and relationships to guide an evolution in our positioning, identify business prospects and convert those opportunities. Detailed Responsibilities Prospect, pitch, and attract new business and clients to grow revenue Responsible for developing a business development and sales strategy with new clients that are outside of the Horizon network Responsible for developing and fostering revenue generating partnerships that accelerate business outcomes Directly leads and engages across marquee new business opportunities marshalling resources and strategic thinking in relation to Blue Hour’s pitch responses Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to reach target clients and industries. Foster and maintain relationships with key project based clients and partners to increase repeat business Analyze market trends and provide insights to the management team to inform business decisions. Meet or exceed sales targets, regularly reporting on sales performance and progress. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Responsible for designing a cohesive and integrated ecosystem of “client journeys” and business development pathways as Blue Hour rolls out an increased array of diversified offerings Represent the agency at industry events and conferences. Preferred Skills & Experience Passion for social media, influencer marketing and pop culture/trends Minimum of 12 years of sales experience in brand marketing, with a focus on social and digital marketing Relevant and current connections to C-suite executives/brand decision makers across Fortune 500 brands (i.e. warm Rolodex) Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Team player, and enthusiastic self-starter who is also extremely innovative, creative, professional and resourceful Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to manage through a high level of ambiguity to actionable recommendations/solutions Flexibility with work hours – late nights and/or weekends may be necessary to hit client deadlines The salary and total compensation offering is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual. #BHS #LI-JK1 Horizon Media is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Salary Range $210,000.00 - $500,000.00 A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
