RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specimen Processing Unpacking, sorting, and verifying of specimens received from couriers and law enforcement agencies. Labels, aliquots, and delivers samples to appropriate testing area while maintaining chain-of-custody. Prepares both negative and positive in-house blinds. Determines specimen suitability based on established laboratory procedures. Resolves problem specimens and follow procedures for specimen storage and disposal. Forwarding any misdirected specimen received.
• Data Entry Enters orders and demographic information into the computer system. Prepares both negative and positive in-house blinds. Resolves problem specimens and follow procedures for specimen storage and disposal. Maintains and updates secure reporting instructions from clients and third-party administrators. Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
