Passion for our mission and vision is required! Corporate: This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations. We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance and Security Operations (FMSO) Process and Policy Alignment Manager who is responsible for ensuring that all processes and policies within FMSO are effectively aligned with regulatory requirements, best practices, and the organization's strategic objectives. This role involves defining and refining facility and security-related policies, conducting comprehensive policy reviews, updating security protocols, and developing robust procedures for effective facilities governance. The manager engages closely with corporate functional groups, including Human Resources, Legal, and Finance, to ensure consistent and compliant operational facility and security practices across the organization. Moreover, familiarity with fleet management compliance, particularly with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, is highly beneficial. The FMSO Process and Policy Alignment Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the adoption of best practices within the organization’s facilities and security operations, contributing significantly to the organization's overall strategic success. This role includes the following key responsibilities: Develop, refine, and implement facility and security-related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals, legal standards, and industry best practices. Conduct regular policy reviews and updates to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines. Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure policies and processes are harmonized across functional areas and reflect current legal and financial standards. Provide guidance and support on the implementation of best practices in facility operations and security management to promote efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular assessments and audits of processes and policies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, including DOT requirements for fleet management, and ensure compliance within the organization. Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management regarding policy alignment and process improvements. Support the development and delivery of training programs to educate staff on new and revised policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: College degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Security Management, or a related field. 5 years of experience in process management, policy development, or a related role within facilities, security, human resources, legal, finance, or other related field. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to facilities management, security operations, or other functional support areas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Legal, and Finance. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in policy documentation and process mapping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Security Management, or a related field. Certification in facilities management, security management, or a related field (e.g., FMP, CFM, CPP). Experience in fleet management and knowledge of DOT compliance requirements. Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and successful policy implementation. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and process mapping tools. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
