As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will share in the Supply Chain Planning team’s impact on all aspects of performance, driving organizational and policy change to enhance Blue Origin’s bottom-line.
In this role, you will support and manage the needs of the assigned program(s) as a Supply Chain Planning Sr Manager. The roles primary responsibility is to manage schedule, costs, and technical execution for supply chain content for assigned programs.
This function participates in the development, coordination, and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve material availability requirements to meet program integration schedules. Foundationally, you will be responsible for establishing relations with the programs, assessing program needs, building material baselines, provide regular material schedule projections, cost and schedule variance analysis, and associated risk assessments.

Qualifications
  • Ensure that programmatic needs and requirements are being met, tracked, and forecasted through automated tools to provide accountability and consistency
  • Develop monthly forecasts tools, templates, and processes to manage material spend.
  • Support program management through the analysis, oversight, and status of vehicle material and support equipment costs, delivery schedules, quality, and location tracking.
  • Review material procurements and inventory transfers.
  • Conduct ad-hoc material / Purchase Order issue research and resolution, as needed.
  • Research and help respond to DCMA inquiries regarding monthly data submissions.
  • Proficient in analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to confidently interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired
  • Active DoD Secret/Top Security Clearance
  • Familiarity and or experience in building Program management tools and processes in the following areas: EVMS, Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, experience integrating project cost, schedule, risk and progress or similar business processes.
  • Experience in Cost and schedule control and analysis, earned value management, Estimate at Complete (EAC) preparation, Estimate to Complete (ETC) management, and project/program setup. Knowledge of FAR part 12 and part 15 contracts.
  • Prior CAM experience preferably in the defense industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Earned Value Certification or equivalent
