About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our dynamic organization. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Performance Management

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to employees.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.

HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are compliant with legal requirements.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions on various HR topics.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Manage HR systems and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
