- This position is located at our Huntington Park Information Resource Center Location & require employee to work 5 days per week in the Huntington Park Information Resource Center*
Your WorkIn this role, you will:
- Provide training support for live calls
- Handle escalated issues that are not able to be de-escalated by the Intermediate Information Resource Center Representatives
- Responsible for special processing assignments; coordinates with Medical Management. Pharmacy Services, Claims, and Installation and Billing if needed
- Lead the research, development, and execution of special events at the Information Resource Centers
- Assist with facility operations such as ordering supplies, writing desktop procedures and processing vendor invoices
- Assist with organization and hosting of unique quality events and participating in on-site, off-site activities
- Assist with developing programming for the center
- Assist with locating and vetting potential vendors for programming at the center
- Requires at least 5 years of professional experience
- Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education
- Requires being bilingual in Spanish as demonstrated by successful completion of an oral language proficiency test upon hire
- Requires Medi-Cal knowledge and experience
- Experience with community resource centers strongly preferred
- Customer service background strongly preferred
- Experience with program development strongly preferred
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and dependability in all workplace activities

- Hybrid – In a business unit approved office a few times per year to 3 days per week, on average
- Office – In a business unit approved office 4 days a week, on average. If the role you’re applying for is deemed an “Essential Role,” the company has determined that the role can only be performed in a Blue Shield office or in the field and would require your to meet the office worker classification.
