Director of Quality

Focus:

• Provide guidance and direction to the Quality Assurance team, overseeing day-to-day operations and promoting a culture of quality excellence.
• Develop and implement robust quality management systems to uphold product integrity and meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing manufacturing processes and implementing best practices to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications, conducting audits and facilitating corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making to prevent defects and improve overall quality performance.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in quality management and process improvement.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving process improvements.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Experience with quality management software and ERP systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other relevant quality management systems.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve quality objectives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to improve quality performance.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate quality concepts and requirements across all levels of the organization.
