Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team and support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for our growing commercial operations.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced financial analyst to play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategy and success for a leading pharmaceutical/drug formulations company. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial modeling expertise with deep knowledge of the healthcare industry to provide critical decision support and insights across product launches, pricing, investment evaluation, and more.

Focus:

  • Build detailed financial models and provide data-driven insights to support commercial strategy, pricing decisions, product launches, and resource allocation across the product portfolio.
  • Develop annual operating plans, sales forecasts, and monthly/quarterly reforecasts incorporating input from brand marketing, sales operations, market research, and other teams.
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and market share to identify business risks and opportunities. Recommend actions to optimize profitability.
  • Partner with brand marketing teams to develop launch pricing strategies, revenue forecasting models, and post-launch performance tracking for new product introductions.
  • Conduct profitability analyses, what-if scenarios, and business case modeling to evaluate potential investments, licensing deals, co-promotion agreements etc.
  • Prepare financial reports, management presentations and ad-hoc analyses to provide financial leadership with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize strong analytical abilities to interpret and synthesize large datasets from internal and external sources to drive business decisions.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in the consumer health product industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel, BI tools etc.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare markets, product lifecycles, and industry regulations/practices.
  • Exceptional communicator can present complex data clearly and actionably.
  • Self-motivated with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
