Manufacturing Technician - 2nd or 3rd shift

They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with addressing equipment issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to manage maintenance projects, and a commitment to supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Possibility to work in 2 shifts, 5 days a week:
• 2 shift: 2pm-10pm and/or 3 shift: 10pm-6am and Weekends are off

Focus:

• Address equipment issues, determine root causes, and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Interact with external contractors when necessary, obtain quotes, and coordinate their work.
• Recognize problems and develop effective solutions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as necessary
• Oversee workflow assignments to ensure deliverables are met.
• Strategically plan and carry out repair and maintenance activities efficiently.
• Coordinate projects and schedules for installing or removing systems.
• Join staff and safety meetings as required.
• Conduct physical inspections of the facility premises and carry out assigned repairs, including painting, patching, minor electrical work, furniture repairs, wall and ceiling repairs, and plumbing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Assist the mechanics team as needed.

Skill Set:

• 5 or plus years in equipment maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge and experience with OSHA and city/state codes for compliance.
• Proficiency in PC usage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with contractors and internal teams.
• Capable of efficiently performing physical inspections and repairs.
• Encourage continuous improvement efforts and effective team collaboration.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
