MRI Technician

This role is pivotal in conducting MRI procedures to obtain crucial diagnostic information for both inpatients and outpatients. As an MRI Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of imaging outcomes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering clear communication among clinical teams.

Focus:

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures to acquire essential diagnostic data for patients.
• Evaluate captured images, addressing any discrepancies to maintain quality standards.
• Perform MRI exams following established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.
• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of the targeted areas.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in implementing quality assurance measures and maintaining accurate patient records.

Skill Set:

• 2-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably with experience working on Siemens medical equipment.
• Possess applicable licensure/certifications in radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate clinical and technical proficiency in MRI technology to meet Quality Standards requirements.
• Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including overnight shifts, to meet patient care needs.
