Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in offering expert guidance on designated electrical engineering projects. Focus:

• Offer technical advice and support for electrical engineering initiatives, maintaining adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

• Engage with senior engineering staff to pinpoint and exploit opportunities for improving site safety, operational efficacy, and environmental safeguards by leveraging innovative technologies.

• Execute detailed investigations and formulate strategic recommendations for engineering projects, ensuring they align with overall objectives and financial limitations.

• Oversee small to medium-sized construction projects at the site, managing vendor contracts and the procurement of equipment.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of relevant local, state, and federal regulations that impact your engineering responsibilities.

• Actively participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the site, including the preparation and review of capital expenditure requests.

• Serve as a representative on company-sponsored committees and task forces, aiding in strategic decisions and policy formations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to enhance engineering operations and achieve organizational objectives.

Skill Set:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, is required.

• A minimum of three years of pertinent experience for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least two years for those with a Master’s degree.

• Demonstrated mastery of Electrical Engineering fundamentals, with a comprehensive understanding of Mechanical and Process Engineering practices.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• A strong dedication to upholding safety protocols and recognizing workplace hazards

• Superior communication abilities, both in oral and written forms.

• Well-versed in modern electronics, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and control system technologies.

• Proven track record in managing and overseeing small to medium-scale engineering projects.

• Competence in assessing and integrating operational enhancements.

• Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) certification, expertise in Power Systems Engineering, and a thorough familiarity with applicable industry regulations and technological tools.
