This company is looking for a Showroom Manager to play a pivotal role in steering the operational and sales success of our showroom. This dynamic position is geared towards a leader who excels in sales, customer service, and operational management. The role demands proactive engagement in sales initiatives, customer interaction processes, and seamless collaboration across all company departments to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Focus:

  • Drive recruitment, training, and development of showroom personnel ensuring alignment with company standards and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Actively engage in performance management through continuous feedback, coaching, and formal performance appraisals.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that balances staff strengths with customer satisfaction and operational needs.
  • Lead and directly engage in sales activities with a focus on achieving sales targets and enhancing customer engagement through a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to bolster sales efforts and enhance customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring a robust follow-up mechanism and exceptional service standards.
  • Manage showroom operational standards and financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee daily showroom operations ensuring that all customer service and operational activities align with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous operational procedures and standards that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained, conducting regular reviews and adjustments as needed based on sales trends and forecast data.
  • Maintain the showroom’s physical condition to provide a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere for customers and staff.

Skill Set:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in showroom management, preferably within a design-focused industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing, with the ability to drive revenue growth and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in staff development and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with team members, customers, and company stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
