They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Architecture to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate corporate leadership through business development skills and will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and direction of their architectural practice, as well as collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive growth, oversee financial performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural projects.

Focus:

• Demonstrate corporate leadership by driving business development strategies for growth and market advancement.
• Contribute to the development of the practice's vision and direction in alignment with overall company goals.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including the National Operations Manager, Architectural Business Unit Head, New England Regional Manager, and Director of Marketing on business development activities.
• Lead the preparation of major proposals and play a key role in securing new clients and identifying opportunities.
• Participate in business, technical, and civic activities to support business initiatives and enhance market presence.
• Ensure financial performance of the studio/practice, including annual forecasts, anticipating financial issues, and communicating effectively with leadership.
• Manage multi-disciplined teams and represent multiple markets, ensuring successful and profitable projects.
• Provide senior-level leadership for design quality and technical excellence.
• Monitor implementation of company standards, objectives, and guidelines, serving as a subject matter expert.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the practice area, engineering codes, regulations and industry best practices ensuring project compliance and driving innovation with continuous improvement.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
• 15 years of U.S. experience in building design and construction document preparation.
• Licensed Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Experience in pursuing and follow-ups with clients and projects in Healthcare and Public Sector highly desired.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of 3D Modeling software such as SketchUp Pro, Rhino 3D Max, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organization skills.
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks.
