Job Title: Auto Body Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. As an Auto Body Technician, you will utilize your expertise in automotive repair, welding, soldering, and using power and hand tools to perform a variety of tasks. If you are passionate about automotive restoration and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and framework straightening
- Weld and solder parts as necessary for repairs
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks
- Contribute to auto restoration projects with precision and attention to detail
- Handle heavy lifting when required during the repair process
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate or repair vehicle components
- Sanding, masking and priming as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and tools
- Strong welding and soldering skills
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Familiarity with sheet metal work
- Passion for auto restoration projects
