Job Title - SR. Electrical Engineer

Location - Fulton, MD.

Job Description:

• Must be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Produce complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
• Perform and supervise the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.
• Perform and supervise the execution of both interior and exterior lighting design and calculate footcandle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
• Participate in meetings with clients and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including responding to AHJ comments, shop drawing review, and responding to RFI’s.
• Review of deliverables, including QA/QC through design and construction.
• Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
• Registration as a PE (required).
• Department of Defense design experience is desired.
• Experience with AutoCad and REVIT
• RCDD certification is a plus
• Sr. Electrical Engineer with 10 or more years of experience in consulting engineering and project management who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth.
• Must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and specification.
• Should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team, work independently, participate in multiple projects simultaneously and supervise the efforts of a small team.
