BluePearl Specialty Emergency Pet Hospital in?Birmingham, AL is seeking a full-time board certified or residency trained?Oncologist to join our new, state-of-the-art, emergency and specialty pet hospital currently under construction. We are looking to expand our current Internal Medicine department due to high caseload and growth of the service.

The practice is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocautery, and surgical monitoring instrumentation. The Oncology practice is referral only and the case load is currently handled by the Internal Medicine service.

Our ideal candidate would be a team player with an interest in growing Oncology in the?Birmingham?hospital. We have a very collaborative, open working environment. Full time or part time employment will be considered.

The practice is currently located on Lake Valley Drive in Hoover, AL and was established in 2005 as Birmingham Veterinary Internal Medicine and later became a BluePearl Hospital in 2020. Our new hospital will be located within a few miles of downtown?Birmingham, near the Galleria in Hoover, AL.? We plan to provide multiple specialty services in the new hospital and currently offer Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology.???Once the new hospital is complete it will be open 24/7 to provide Emergency Services.??The hospital facility will be approximately 10,000 sq ft with a tentative occupancy in mid-late 2022.??
