**Sc** **hedule** **: 4 x 10/hour shifts, Monday-Thursday.** **Some weekends, holidays, and on-call are required.**

We have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.

**As a** **Dermatology** **Veterinary** **Technician** **, you will:**

Communicate effectively with different people in high stress situations

Triage and obtain patient history ?

Perform venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters ?

Utilize Dermatology terms

Swab for Otic Cytology, and ear mite preparation

Prepare for Skin Biopsy

Recognize alopecia, nodules and tumors

Perform Anesthesia monitoring

Perform CPR ?

Perform radiographs ?

Perform diagnostic procedures and treatments

Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients

Be familiar and proficient with aseptic techniques

Be familiar with laboratory procedures and practices
