Blueprint Hires is Hiring an Electrical Designer Near Sacramento, CA

A specialized electrical engineering consulting firm an Electrical Designer to help them create innovative and efficient electrical solutions at their Sacramento, CA location. Your expertise will support them engineers and project managers, ensuring high-quality design and implementation of electrical systems.

Your Day Includes

  • Performing electrical design calculations for low/medium voltage power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, and data/telecommunications systems.
  • Coordinating project assignments with engineers, project managers, and management.
  • Reviewing drawings from vendors, clients, engineers, and architects, recommending necessary changes.
  • Researching code issues and collaborating with City, State, and County officials.
  • Documenting design options and findings for engineers, project managers, and management.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • FE certification or qualifications to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
  • Four years of experience with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, and building codes.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions.
