Job Summary
The Contract Specialist will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. They will develop contract templates and standard agreements for subcontracts, thoroughly examine contracts to identify potential risks, discrepancies, or ambiguities, and propose necessary modifications. The Contract Specialist will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution and closeout, including monitoring deadlines, milestones, and deliverables. They will ensure adherence to contractual obligations and terms by all parties involved, and address any deviations or breaches appropriately. The Contract Specialist will maintain accurate and organized contract records, documentation, and correspondence, assess potential legal, financial, and operational risks associated with contracts, and propose mitigation strategies. They will identify opportunities to streamline contract processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize contract performance.
