Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day property operations, including routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Assist the Property Manager in the negotiation of contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident inquiries and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize OneSite software to manage property information and communicate with residents.
- Assist with the sales and marketing of available units, as well as other property-related services.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders through effective communication and customer relationship management skills.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in property management, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong administrative skills and experience with property management software.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendors.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and their implications on property management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or an associate's degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
