We are a leading governmental organization in the State of Michigan, seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join our Vulnerability Management Team. If you have the skills and passion to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data, we want to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
- Performing duties as a Technical Security Analyst within the Vulnerability Management team.
- Planning, scheduling, implementing, and maintaining scalable vulnerability scans using modern tools for high complexity devices.
- Supporting vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools.
- Conducting internal vulnerability audits of servers, network devices, applications, and other devices.
- Conducting data analysis of vulnerability management data, integrated with other data sources, to measure the effectiveness of vulnerability remediation.
- Interfacing with other agencies to recommend improvements in the security posture and reduce the number of security-related vulnerabilities.
The right person has
An Associate's Degree in Business (Bachelor's preferred), knowledge and experience in IT Security Operations, and experience in coordinating, organizing, and hosting key meetings and events. The ideal candidate will have an inclusive style with the ability to collaborate and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization. They will demonstrate the ability to support an IT leadership team in daily operations and to achieve their organizational objectives.
