BlueWave Resource Partners is Hiring an Electrical Engineer Near Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities:
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design
- Utilize engineering CAD software, including fusion and PCB Design software packages
- Troubleshoot PCBs to the Component Level
- Create embedded software programming in C/C for circuit testing and troubleshooting.
- Surface mount soldering as necessary
- Prepare correct first-time designs for manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
- Work on the Research and Development team to develop cutting-edge visual technologies
- Interface with the manufacturing team to bring an R&D product to final manufacture
- Design and produce detailed schematics, manufacturing drawings, cable schedules, wiring lists, parts lists, test sheets
- Produce and maintain detailed Bills of Materials and assembly drawings and consult with Assembly Engineers to ensure understanding of the project
- Continually research new products that meet the technical requirements and design needs of current or upcoming projects
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers, advise on end-of-life and manufacturer trends
- Interface with compliance to provide all necessary documentation to obtain 3rd party certifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
- Able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment on projects with short lifecycles.
- Knowledge of circuit design and electronics principles
- Experience with microprocessors, including STM32, PIC32, and Atmel MCUs
- Knowledge of SPI, I2C, RS232, and RS485 communication protocols
- Experience with Altium PCB design software
- Working knowledge of necessary lab equipment, including digital multimeter and oscilloscope
