What You Will Be DoingManager level professionals conduct highly technical reviews on complex tax returns (corporate, individual, and partnerships) for our clients as well as research tax issues and provide recommendations to client specific issues. We are looking for someone with multi-state experience as well as experience in the Government Contracting realm. You will also be responsible for leadership of junior level staff on the engagement team, which could mean coaching and mentoring or hands-on training. Relationships are a critical cornerstone at BMSS, this role will be responsible for creating and cultivating relationships internally among the team and externally with the client.
Skills Needed To Be Successful
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/university.
- CPA strongly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing and reviewing complex business and/or personal tax returns, preferable with exposure to a variety of industries.
- Facilitating in-house continuing education and training of junior level staff.
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in Government Contracting preferred
- MBA or MAcc is preferred but not required.
