We are looking for an experienced SAP benefits lead who would be a great addition to the team!
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong working relationship with business partners in order to facilitate effective, end-to-end solutions in Payroll and Benefits business areas.
  • Develop and configure payroll and benefits solutions using SAP tools; in addition to ABAP code review and analysis as needed.
  • Work directly with business partners to gather requirements for changes and effectively convey this information to the appropriate development resource or team, then manage the request throughout its development cycle while keeping the business partners updated.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate issue resolution with regular status updates and ongoing communication.
  • Facilitate, determine and communicate appropriate scope and prioritization of projects while ensuring deliverables meet business needs and are functionally appropriate and technically sound and secure.
  • Create, maintain and review project documentation through Solution Manager, Charm and other tools.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams and/or vendors to develop appropriate application interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency through performance, integration, and regression testing.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with TS peers at appropriate intervals.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Provide technical leadership and guide teams on standard methodologies for design and development.
  • Design and architect solutions to align with overall BNSF enterprise architecture and security.
  • Lead development of proof of concepts (POCs) to validate design and performance of the solution when appropriate.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% based on business need between Fort Worth, TX and Topeka, KS.
  • Candidate may have the opportunity to work up to 50% remote each week.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical/business field is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SAP Payroll configuration and/or SAP retirement/benefit systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience in SAP Payroll year-end and tax processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT Business Analysis (or related) functions, with in depth knowledge and/or accountability for leading requirements and process modelling activities in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Possess knowledge of software development, technology and methodology concepts obtained through formal training, education, and/or work experience.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to help team develop functional specifications and other project documentation.
  • Possess good team building, conflict resolution and decision-making skills while readily adjusting to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
  • Show ability to manage and resolve complex business and/or technology issues.
  • Have proven ability to partner with customers to identify and implement technology solutions and business process best practices.
  • Experience with performance, integration, and regression testing.
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in SAP Timekeeping/Time Evaluation.
  • Ability to maintain rules in SAP payroll and timekeeping schemas.
  • General knowledge of SAP payroll and benefits configuration.
  • Cross-functional knowledge in the following areas: Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Project Systems.
  • 5 years of experience in IT Business Analysis (or related) functions, with accountability for leading requirements and process modelling activities in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Professional certification in Business Analysis (such as PMI-PBA or CBAP) preferred.
