We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Business Manager to join our Growth Ventures Business Management and Execution Team. This role will report to the Growth Ventures COO. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Partner with Growth Ventures COO, to own the revenue and expense management of Growth Ventures business, for both Growth Ventures Core and Data & Analytics, partnering closely with Finance partners
  • Manage the annual budgetary process in conjunction with the CFO team, focusing on business strategy, initiatives, and commercial outcomes. 
  • Help execute business strategy: Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit to drive prioritization and accelerate delivery timelines. 
  • Deliver key business updates on commercial milestones, initiatives, and challenges, with prior Business Mgt and/or Finance experience a plus.
  • Manage Growth Ventures Recruiting and requisition process and Headcount reporting and tracking, including updates to org charts.
  • Partner with COO on location strategy and other key initiatives across Growth Ventures.
  • Partner with Business Sourcing Lead to manage Growth Ventures third party activities and program spend, including the migration from legacy D&A systems to the BNY banks processes and systems
  • Support COO in operational matters and program management, as identified and necessary

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $160,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
