We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Financial Planning & Analysis, to join our Marketing & Communications team. This hybrid role is located in New York or Pittsburgh.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Partner with COO, to own the expense management of Marketing & Communications budget, partnering closely with Finance partners
  • Work closely with Marketing & Communications teams and business line stakeholders to understand financial business goals, priorities, and ROI
  • Manage the annual budgetary process in conjunction with the CFO team, focusing on business strategy, initiatives, and commercial outcomes
  • Relay financial outcomes and issues through both spoken and written communication
  • Manage Marketing & Communications Headcount reporting and tracking
  • Partner with Business Sourcing Lead and Global Procurement to review and track Marketing & Communications third-party vendor activities and program spend
  • Support COO in operational matters and program management, as identified and necessary

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience in budget administration, planning & analysis 
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Team player with a proven track record of managing and delivering high-profile priorities and projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Tact and good judgement in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must
  • Min of 7 - 10 years of experience in similar role, preferably financial services. Prior Consulting experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
