We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Source-to-Pay I to join our Enterprise Sourcing Office - Onboarding team. This role is located in Pittsburgh - FLEX/Yes.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

Job Description: 

Source-to-Pay roles support the end to end Procurement process from request to payment. Roles are divided into sub-groups responsible for different aspects of the end-to-end process including Procurement Systems, Accounts Payable, Procurement Analytics and Contract Management. Roles are responsible for developing an effective global process including policies, procedures and systems as well as ensuring that procurement is executed in a way which promotes Business and Environmental Sustainability. Roles provide sourcing analytics and reporting and recommend process improvements, as needed. Roles frequently liaise with stakeholders to ensure agreed upon requirements for services and outcomes are being met.

This role is Contract Management focused with an emphasis on supporting our business partners.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Supply Chain degree preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred; knowledge of procurement and sourcing practices preferred.
  • Experience reading and comprehending contracts.
  • Dexterity in problem-solving complex workflow inquiries and process related questions from customers in various programs.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (compare/contrast/Vlookups, dashboards), MS PowerPoint, MS Word and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Project Management and can oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer Service, collaboration and decision making within policy and procedure guidelines.
  • Compliance, Sourcing and Vendor Management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to self-manage workload and goals independently in a fast-paced and deadline driven organization.
  • Experience in working across organizational lines.
  • Knowledge of vendor/risk management desirable, but not mandatory. 
  • Knowledge of Procurement/Sourcing process as follows:

From a Contract Management Perspective:

  • Serves as a part of the Contract Management Support Services Team as an advisor/consultant to our business partners. 
  • Primary responsibility will be to guide our business partners through the Enterprise Sourcing (ESO) and Third Party Risk (TPG) management processes. The role will serve as a process expert by learning the processes, policies and systems to effectively assist in the onboarding and maintenance of engagements.
  • Contract Repository verification and maintenance.
  • Make recommendations, as required, to senior members of the ESO/TPG management teams on areas of the process that could be improved. 
  • Partners with our businesses and other support functions such as Global Procurement, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal.
  • As needed provides spend analyses, performance tracking, regulatory requirements, process support and ad hoc requests to customers on request.

From a Sourcing perspective:

• Supports the business or vendor partners by contributing to the development of plans for a single assigned activity, one of: Systems, Analysis, Invoice Processing, Sustainable Procurement, Contract Management. Partners with S2P managers to execute effectively throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects. Responsible for all service areas of the assigned activity. The assigned activity is often complex in nature.

• Independently completes complex analyses and designs, builds, manipulates and presents spreadsheets, databases reports and presentations using the Microsoft office suite of tools. Applies advanced knowledge of wider S2P processes to complete work, as needed, and provides guidance to more junior team members to improve their proficiency.

• Proactively implements system and process improvements that promote improved quality, timeliness and relevance of reports. Independently identifies and communicates opportunities for system and process improvements. Supports the delivery of large quantities of routine performance reporting and ad hoc reporting requests.

• Uses working relationships with the wider S2P team to deliver complex tasks related to their assigned activity in a consistent and repeatable manner, with a clear focus on improving the end-to-end S2P process. May also complete time-sensitive, ad hoc requests for tasks relating to their assigned activity and ad hoc reporting requests.

• Is developing the ability to lead project work streams and proactively identify and analyze the need for process improvement projects.
