We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Production Services Infrastructure Support Analyst to join our Technology Services Group team. This role is located in Harlow, Essex.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Install and validate servers, network infrastructure, and supporting hardware in a mission critical datacenter with while ensuring proper rack/cable/switch/power/cooling metrics are maintained
• Updating of Data Center assets within the Data Center Infrastructure Nlyte platform.
• Assist with installation, support, troubleshooting, and repair of data center equipment.
• Communicate with internal and external system users to address concerns and make sure that technical issues are dealt with appropriately.
• Manage ticket queues and address escalated issues. Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing system. Coordinate with vendors to ensure efficient incident resolution.
• Identify and work critical system related issues to meet the objectives of the corporation.
• Participate in reporting efforts related to budget for the various supporting business units.
• Change and incident management
• Telco support, extending circuits
• Troubleshooting cable issues – copper and fiber
• Shipping and receiving – Asset tracking
• Coordinate and Manage reporting efforts related to budget for the various supporting business units.
• Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current.
• Plan and maintain data center infrastructure including mainframe, open systems, storage and network hardware. Mainframe mapping, cabling and troubleshooting
• Provide leadership and task direction to team members

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Ability to install and validate servers, network infrastructure, and supporting hardware in a mission critical data centre with while ensuring proper rack/cable/switch/power/cooling metrics are maintained
• Updating of Data Center assets within the Data Center DCIM Tools
• Current CDCTP qualification
• Ability to assist with installation, support, troubleshooting, and repair of data centre equipment
• Experience with telecom equipment installation and troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot, coordinate hardware installations and/or repairs
• Engage vendors for hardware problems covered under existing support contracts
• Communicate with internal and external system users to address concerns and make sure that technical issues are dealt with appropriately
• Manage ticket queues and address escalated issues. Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing system
• Participate in reporting efforts related to budget for the various supporting business units.
• Understanding of structured cabling systems and the ability to troubleshoot cable issues – copper and fibre
• Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current
