We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Full Stack Developer to join ourENTERPRISE RISK TECH RISK ENGINEERING team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA and will work a Hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in-office required). Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Contribute to a high-performing team of problem solvers from various disciplines who are committed to driving growth & innovation across the company.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders & business leaders on cross-functional initiatives, designing blueprints for new products, ways of working and other disciplines.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts and developers across our global technology teams to build analytics solutions focused on value drivers and stakeholder experience.
  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
  • Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
  • Leverage critical thinking & sharp problem-solving skills to guide the design & development of data science tools and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Leverage data science and advanced analytics allowing us to go beyond and improve program and product delivery, forge exceptional customer experiences, and capture new growth and value opportunities.
  • Demonstrate teamwork. Leverage existing products/functionality and promote reuse. Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices. Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to. Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions. Utilize local meetups to gain and share knowledge.
  • Challenge the status quo, looking beyond the possible, and making the future real in a way of working that builds on customer centricity, collaboration, and innovation to drive positive change.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience developing in Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio, C# .Net, VB .Net, ASP .Net, ADO .Net, WCF, Web Services, IIS
  • Strong development experience in Microsoft .NET framework and C#.NET and database systems such as SQL Server.
  • Experience of using third party UI controls and frameworks
  • Experience in writing SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, packages and debugging the code.
  • Experience of using source control tools such as TFS and GIT.
  • Experience in creating documents like required document, functional/technical specs, use case, test plans, ER diagrams, data flow diagrams etc. for allotted projects.
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, onshore/offshore 
  • Effectively communicate and understand project requirements
  • Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time
  • Jenkins, CI/CD, Automation
  • Test Driven Development
  • OOAD, Design patterns, MVVM, MVC, Windows applications, 
  • Web API, WCF/ Web services, Micro services, Solid hands on .net, C#.
  • Local Site deployment and Exposure to IIS
