Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator 3 to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City, UT. The Machine Operator 3 Fabricates component parts using various machine tools, including power mills, lathes, and numerically controlled equipment, while reading blueprints and making precise measurements. May inspect parts, suggest process improvements, and provide NC programming support.

Responsibilities

• Setup: Prepare machines for production by calibrating and cleaning them
• Quality control: Verify the quality of the finished product and create records of approved and defective units
• Production: Follow production instructions and supply raw materials or parts to machines
• Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high quality products

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Experience operating heavy machinery or in a manufacturing facility
• CNC-related training/experience
• Able to lift at least 20 pounds
