Boathouse Sports is currently seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to join our team as a Texas District Sales Manager.

Boathouse Sports is the Premium brand of custom Athletic team outerwear, uniforms and training gear, providing factory direct service in Colleges, High School, Clubs and Pro teams. We are “Made in the USA” in our Philadelphia based factory, providing vertical solutions to teams. We provide gear to over 10,000 schools nationwide.

About the role:

Boathouse Sports is growing and making additions to its sales organization and is seeking and exceptional, talented individual to fill the key role as our District Sales Manager. Candidates should live within the territory. District Sales Managers call on Public/Private High Schools, Colleges/University and club programs representing Boathouse proprietary custom uniforms and outerwear – all “Made in the USA”.

Daily activity includes calling on new and current customer base to generate new business and expand business within current accounts. High transactional business that requires candidates to have strong time management, communication skills and computer skills to effectively and efficiently manager their territory. Position requires execution of a sales process using our internal CRM and ERP systems to achieve monthly sales quotas.

Our ideal candidate:

Education and experience

• 3-5 years of sales experience
• 4 year degree
• Passion for athletics and dedication needed to build a territory
• Direct sales experience
• We want hunters not farmers.
• Successful background in sales through cold calling (new business prospecting) and servicing of existing accounts to develop territory.

Skills and abilities:

• Highly competitive with the want to WIN
• Strong communication skills via phone/email
• Highly organized and thorough in daily planning a plus
• Strong cold calling skills
• Ability to travel as needed to their territory 2-3 x per year
• Background in a CRM system is a plus
