Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Dealership Clerk to support various administrative and operational functions within our dealership. The Dealership Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dealership, performing tasks such as bookkeeping, inventory management, equipment photography, receptionist duties, clerical tasks, and other duties as needed. This role requires someone who is comfortable being on their feet regularly and is willing to engage in physical labor when necessary. This is a full-time position and the pay range is $20-30/hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and reconciling financial records using accounting software.
  • Manage inventory levels and track equipment stock, ensuring accurate records of product availability and sales.
  • Take photographs of equipment for marketing and advertising purposes, ensuring high-quality images that showcase our products effectively.
  • Uploading photos to inventory and creating descriptions for our online listings.
  • Greet customers and visitors to the dealership, providing assistance and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries and providing information about products, services, and dealership policies.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents, maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
  • Collaborate with other dealership staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the dealership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an equipment dealership or related industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, staff, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office suite and accounting software.
  • Comfortable being on their feet regularly and engaging in physical labor as needed.
  • Comfortable driving and engaging with all types of equipment and implements.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
