SUMMARY: As Student Recruiters, we commit to building relationships by guiding, helping, and informing future generations of Bob Jones students through Christ-like passionate love and continual dependence on Christ for His glory.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build relationships with potential Bob Jones students who are off campus
- Make a variety of calls to prospective students
- Write emails and text messages to prospective students
- Provide insight to prospective students about what student life is like on campus
- Provide key assistance to the admission counselors by funneling new prospects to the counselor
- Aid the supervisor with other projects and recruiting events as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
- Must have been an in-residence student at BJU for at least one semester
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good record with Student Life
- Excellent customer service skills
- Phone experience (not required but helpful)
- Professional writing skills
- Must be disciplined and committed
- Work as a team
- Help staff recruitment events
- Perform detailed data entry
- Familiarity with MS Word
