The primary responsibilities of the role is to assist in the oversight and management of the Company’s capital investment and governance from project inception to go live. As needed, the candidate will work closely alongside the accounting team to ensure accuracy of capex, depreciation and capital-in-progress spend. In addition to capital investments, the candidate will drive process improvement initiatives in support of Finance, Accounting and Treasury organization. The candidate will have close ties with counterparts in the IT organization to guide systemic changes and financial support.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and assist in the overall capital asset request process including working alongside FP&A and the business to include any potential Return on Investment (ROI) cases
  • Work with accounting to track the compilation of project costs into asset accounts, and appropriate accurate & timely application of assets in service
  • Ensure and foster cross functional collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the overall capital budget process for the entire company as well tracking actuals to budget and reforecasting
  • Drive productivity and efficiency through process improvement and technology solutions while improving leadership transparency and controls
  • Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to capital assets
  • Conduct hind-sight analysis related to capital assets as requested by management
Required Qualifications
  • BA Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5-7 years of asset accounting experience
  • High proficiency in accounting, general ledger entries and accounting processes with SAP & Oracle preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both technical and interpersonal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Physical RequirementsThis job will be performed in a mix of the corporate office building and remote from home. We work collaboratively as a team and are in regular communication even when remote. No travel is currently required for this position.
Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:$100,000 - $125,000
