Job Responsibilities

• Listen to customers to assess needs and determine the type of maintenance or repair required for the equipment.
• Complete repair order for assignment to service technician to get work order completed.
• Schedule customers for specific drop off and pick up times.
• Accurately estimate and document all work and associated charges on the repair order. Confirm how costs will be covered – by customer, through warranty/extended warranty, or company policy.
• Keep customer informed and updated on the repair status of their equipment, including parts on order and status of total cost of the repair.
• Once completed, verify that quality control audits have been done to ensure completion of the work according to the customer’s request. Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers.
• Call the customer and arrange for pick up and payment of services.
• Close work orders in a timely manner.
• Handle minor customer concerns and complaints and work to provide positive resolution to satisfy the customer.
• Escalate more complex issues to the Service Supervisor for resolution.

Some essentials to be qualified

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a service writer in the equipment, construction or motor vehicle industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and basic math skills.
• Strong work ethic including integrity, punctuality and dependability.
• Positive demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Satisfactory results of a criminal background screening

• Highly Sought After Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm! No weekends!
• Work Location: Bobcat of South Shore, 1278 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, MA
• All Our Locations: Bobcat of New Hampshire (Chichester, NH and Hudson, NH), Bobcat of Cape Cod (Bourne, MA) and our newest location Bobcat of South Shore (Bridgewater, MA)
• Pay: competitive hourly rate based on experience (40-hour workweek) (entry-level through advanced encouraged to apply). Remember, great benefits are also part of your total compensation.
• Benefits enrollment is first of month following 30 days of employment.
