MEDICAL SCHEDULER

Upscale Boca Raton concierge medical practice seeking experienced patient scheduler for immediate full time position in a pleasant environment in a small office.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of 3 years previous experience in office, hospital or outpatient center diagnostic scheduling. Responsible for scheduling appointments for ambulatory surgical, diagnostic and other procedures.

· A comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, CPT and ICD10 code billing guidelines.

· Fully versed in private payer or Medicare guidelines and regulations, pre-authorizations and verifications.

· Patient service oriented and direct patient contact. Must be dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize with attention to details and accuracy and work independently.

· Receptive to cross training in other positions/roles.

· Able to work collaboratively with other coworkers.

· Minimum education – high school or 2 years college.

· Computer proficient in EHR and scheduling software.
