Job Overview
This position assists the Senior Animal Behavior Trainer with all in-kennel and outside-of-kennel enrichment, including but not limited to: playgroups following “dogs playing for life” protocols, food enrichment (frozen broth, food toys, etc.), other visual and auditory enrichment for cats and dogs within the shelter. Works closely with other sections team members to assist pets in need of additional enrichment or behavior modification. This position exists to assure that PRC provides for the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare, while relieving stress and other consequences of long-term confinement in an animal shelter. The goal is to keep and/or make dogs and cats better adoption candidates.

$41,891 - $54,458
