Job SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Fitness Manager to join our team at Body Fit Training (BFT) West Frisco.
As an Assistant Fitness Manager your goal is to increase membership numbers through member referrals, lead management, community events, marketing and walk-in visits. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and sales skills, a positive attitude, and a love of fitness. This role is comprised of 70-80% sales and marketing and 20-30% studio operations.

We've incorporated scientifically proven strength training techniques into a variety of 50-minute training sessions that are run by accredited coaches in a dynamic group environment. REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with general manager and studio owner
- Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
- Excellent communication and strong writing and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends
- Passion for health and fitness and helping others succeed
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software
- Must possess a passion for continuous learning and a strong desire for career growth
- High school diploma/GED required
- Lead generation including grassroots marketing, external prospecting, and community networking
- Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
- Align with general manager and studio owner’s daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to deliver lead goals for the studio, including digital marketing and social media presence of the BFT brand through various digital platforms
- Greet members, guests, and prospective members as they arrive at the gym
- Answer phone calls and assist members
- Communicate with leads and potential members through calls, texts, emails, and in-person meetings
- Provide an excellent onboarding experience
- Assist members with resolving any concerns or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Any other duties as assigned
