PAY RANGE The Target Pay Range for this position is The Data Scientist - BU will support the Contact Center and lead in developing machine learning and statistical models that will enhance member insights and improve performance forecasting using advanced predictive analytics. annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE: As a Data Scientist at BECU, you will be crucial in developing machine learning and statistical models to enhance member insights and improve performance forecasting using advanced predictive analytics. Your innovative and collaborative approach will directly contribute to BECU's strategic objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Optimize Network Performance: Use machine learning and statistical models to analyze and prioritize internal and external network performance drivers, quantifying and effectively communicating the impact of each key driver on the plan. • Analyze Digital Migration: Assess the impact of digital migration on production capability. • Support Goal-Setting Process: Provide key statistical data to support the advancement of the bottom-up goal-setting methodology. • Enhance Member Experience Score: Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of BECU’s Member Experience Score. • Communicate Results Effectively: Present results to technical and non-technical groups and stakeholders, such as strategy teams, leadership, and risk management auditors. • Monitor Model Performance: Routinely QA and monitor model performance for drift or data pipeline errors. • Conduct Ad-Hoc Analyses: Design and present ad-hoc analyses, profiles and market research as needed, applying valid methodologies. • Code Efficient Queries: Write efficient queries incorporating multiple data sources using business information tools and cloud-based platforms. • Ensure Data Compliance: Meet privacy, security, and compliance standards for all financial and marketing data operations. • Collaborate on Data Processes: Work with Data Governance to define data processes that are in production.
