To learn more visit becu.org/careers. PAY RANGE The Target Pay Range for this position is $110,900.00-$135,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,100.00 - $160,300.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE: In this dynamic role as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO, you will be the keystone that helps drive BECU’s mission by providing exceptional administrative support. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage confidential information, and foster positive relationships with high-level stakeholders will ensure seamless operations, thus contributing to the overall success of BECU. You will represent the values of the organization and work in a highly collaborative manner on behalf of the President/CEO with consistent delivery of exceptional customer service. Your strategic thinking, deep business awareness, and proactive approach will enable the President/CEO to focus on high-impact initiatives, enhancing the organization's growth and integrity. ***Expectation for in-office role with some flexibility for remote work once a successful relationship with the President/CEO is established. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Coordinate and Manage: Coordinate dynamic and complex calendar schedules and travel arrangements for the President/CEO, ensuring detailed itinerary and trip planning. Process expenses and manage time commitments to align with the pacing and intensity of the role. Anticipate Needs: Ensure the President/CEO is well-prepared and briefed before meetings and appointments, proactively addressing requirements to optimize efficiency. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the BECU Board of Directors, employees, and members, using diplomacy and tact to manage the President’s time and calendar effectively. Communication Excellence: Handle a wide range of in-person, telephone, and video inquiries from stakeholders regarding Credit Union policies and practices, representing the President/CEO in alignment with BECU’s strategy and brand. Email Management: Monitor and review incoming emails and other correspondence on behalf of the President/CEO, using discretion and professional judgment to draft responses and follow up on communications as appropriate. Support External Engagement: Coordinate logistics for off-site meetings and events, assist with member inquiries and complaints, and prepare presentations and reports for the President/CEO’s work with outside organizations. Prepare Materials: Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings, ensuring the President/CEO is well-prepared. Collaborate on Projects: Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned, collaborating with other team members to drive successful outcomes. Event Planning: Aid in the planning of credit union events, meetings, conferences, and corporate functions as needed. Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with peer Executive Assistants to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the executive team. Proactive Issue Resolution: Anticipate the needs of the President/CEO and proactively address issues before they arise. Track Deliverables: Monitor deliverables and deadlines, ensuring tasks assigned to the President/CEO are completed on time. Maintain Filing Systems: Manage an electronic filing system for President/CEO documents and files. This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education experience required. Minimum of five years of experience supporting President, CEO, or C-level executives required. Minimum of three years of experience supporting a Board, committee, counsel, department or similar organization in an administrative capacity required. Event planning, budget preparation, project management and planning experience. Desired Qualifications: Experience in the Financial Services industry. Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Teams, Zoom, Google Suite, SharePoint, Diligent and Adobe applications. Expert ability to prioritize, plan, schedule, and organize multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to build strong relationships, understand priorities, and effectively communicate with executive management. Expert ability to absorb complex pieces of data or situations and distill into summarized, coherent information for action and decision-making. Strong decision-making ability based on best-known information and facts. Advanced understanding of correct grammar with the ability to accurately convey complex issues and information. Experience handling sensitive situations and confidential information with utmost care and professionalism. Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
